6th June is the actual date of the D Day landings but the history group will celebrate with a one day special on Saturday 1st June in the village hall.

The hall will be decked appropriately and videos and war time music will be playing.

We have put in a request for The Red Arrows and/or other military aircraft for a flypast on the day.

Displays will cover why and how D Day happened, the Beaches, Little Ships and the Normandy Memorial and much more.
