6th June is the actual date of the D Day landings but the history group will celebrate with a one day special on Saturday 1st June in the village hall.

The hall will be decked appropriately and videos and war time music will be playing.

Unfortunately we have been notified that we are not to be included in a flypast on the day.

Lutterworth Royal British Legion members will be in attendance complete with Standard Bearer.

Displays will cover why and how D Day happened, the Beaches, Little Ships and the Normandy Memorial and much more.
